Snowbird - Secret Santa

Yay, finally I'm allowed to upload this piece I actually finished it a while back, but since it's supposed to be a Christmas gift I had to wait for Christmas to upload this. And right now it's the 24th in Germany, the day we celebrate Christmas :3 I know in the USA it's celebrated on the 25th, but well... this way she probably sees it before she receives all her other gifts o^o

Uhm yeah... I was supposed to draw her character, Kaya... and I hope I haven't drawn her wrong all in all .__. I have to admit that she's rather hard to draw - especially her hair - but her design is great. After having finished inking and basecoloring it turned out quite funny to work on this, because I was able to practise working with CS5. It's running better than the older versions on my computer, which is indeed a great advantage for me =w=; Yeah... I only think I messed up the proportions and on the one hand I like her face - on the other I think it looks weird somehow. I dunno... :/ But all in all I'm satisfied with this piece >w<
