Nyx Character Sheet

Trying to live up to my 2017 new year's resolutions here's the first picture of this new year. I actually sketched Nyx out back when I was in Sweden last year in September, but due to Halloween and Christmas coming up working on him was postponed multiple times. The file was actually sitting on my desktop all that time and I felt quite bad for not having it finished before now. But, at the very least, I am quite happy about how it turned out overall. Nyx's character sheet also gave me the opportunity to practise drawing weapons a little more, and as I've actually never drawn a bow before (I don't remember having drawn a bow before at least) it was quite interesting to work on the weapons.

Also this character sheet sort of belongs to June's one, as both Nyx and June are closely tied to Gaia as they both serve as their retainers, along with two more characters. I wonder if one day I'll finish a character sheet for each one of them, it would look quite interesting to see them next to each other I believe.



And, like I did with June, here are some more basic information on Nyx that I didn't want to squeeze onto his sheet:

• Before going into Gaia's serves and aside from his duties as her retainer Nyx carries some responsibilities as a reaper. His duty lies in protecting wandering souls from beings who prey on them. Being a reaper also allows them to identify wandering souls and understand to a certain degree what they seek. His superior healing skills can also be attributed to him being a reaper. In theory Nyx would be able to resurrect someone sacrificing part of his own strength and soul. However he would need the soul of the person he wants to resurrect in order to do so.
• Like June Nyx doesn't physically age, which can also be accounted to him being a reaper in his case. Out of Gaia's four retainers and including Gaia herself he is the oldest one tho.
• Aside from having had a wife named Melia he also has a son, Thanatos. While he was informed about Melia's fate he doesn't know about what happened to his son. As he was never able to find him he assumed after some time that Thanatos must have also passed away.
