And so another picture from my work list can be striked out as it is completed! This time for , who won the third place in my contest

Seriously guys, I believe all the withdrawal from drawing during my first semester at university caused myself to be, well, way too much focussed on drawing right now. I know my next exams are coming up - yet they are about 4 weeks away from now on - but I can't seem to properly focus on Botanics of Cell-/Molecularbiology right now... Guess I should place another Study Motivation picture back on my desktop and dA page to remind me on what I SHOULD do ;w;

Anyways, enough self-regret-stuff for now, back to the picture! Since I have finished the belated birthday picture for =lunatic-neko I tried to figure out how to complete the traditional drawing requests for both *Dea-Chaos and ~jymi-chen, however I didn't get a decent sketch done for the past two days until someone or something flipped the switch and I ended up with a rather messy sketch of this picture in the middle of the night. Being too tired to do a proper lineart I moved that to the next day - aka yesterday by now - and well, spent the whole day working on this while watching different Disney movies and other animations with my sister. Yeah, so this picture was basicly done in less time again (thankfully I seem to work at a decent speed recently), I'm getting faster - and that's good! I remember where I thought I completely f*cked up at some parts during shading this picture, mainly the background and the gloves - then I also dropped my marker on the picture itself (hitting only spots where this specific color should go into, thank god!), still everything turned out nicely in the end. The flaws I feared to be clearly visible aren't that easy to spot anymore, and that made me happy! Still, one part that I messed up are the gloves after all, I drew them longer as in the reference picture without noticing until I was already shading one and took another look at the reference. Damn, why? orz (Also I made up some random shoes, I hope that's okay ;w; )

On a side note: I left out the painted nails. I don't draw those too often, thus I really have problems to get them done in a good-looking way. I didn't want to risk ruining the completed picture after having spent a whole day in it, so I tried to add them digitally - which also looked strange >: Thus I left them out...

So, for today I will study I believe, giving my hand a little rest =w= Hopefully I'll get another picture done by today~ I mean... my work list is shrinking rapidly when I continue being on a roll
