Jai and kitties :3

My Part of the Art Trade with - Here is her awesome part ;v; *feels so bad when looking at my part*

*cough* okay, sobbing first xD Some unlucky accidents happened - all together just today - while drawing this picture. First of all my second C5 - base color for many shades of gray and black I use - said "Goodbye, see you in heaven later! ♥" and well, stopped working .__. That's why Jai's trousers look quite "dirty" colored and not so nice at all ;v;' When trying to fix the shading there I accidently dropped my C7 marker... leaving some spots on the paper. I fixed those digitally, at least on the wing - and added some more black spots on the book - as it would've looked weird if I had tried to fix those there. And it also seems like my light blue tones, Ice and Frost blue - those I used for that giant pillow - are about to die as well. I actually stopped in between, but even after one day it seemed like the colors weren't all constant... if you get what I mean orz /faily English over and out

Besides that I'm rather happy with this piece. The lineart turned out great, and coloring the wings was extremely fun. I also experimented around with the hair a bit (I sadly don't own the precise color's of Jai's hair, so I tried to get as close to it as possible... didn't want to adjust it digitally, because I believe it wouldn't look to nice after all as well >. The hair looks funny to my point of view, yet I like it. And doing those kitties was funny, too XD
My favourite part of this after all are his eyes and skin. I believe I never did such a good job on those parts before ;v;
