Hey guys, long time no see - unwillingly

It's been some busy weeks filled with conventions and bachelor thesis work, and sadly all that busy-keeping stuff of mine slowed down my art progress dramatically orz Basically this is the picture I spend the past month working on, making progress bit by bit in between work stuff (didn't have a lot of free weekends haha). But as I usually hate rushing stuff (as I feel that it makes pictures turn out sloppy) I took my time to polish this birthday gift for Anira-the-Fox featuring her so-far unnamed Angel/Kid Icarus OC as good as I could ;v; After all it's long overdue, so she deserves something outstanding *looks at ShadowSinty with a You're next-stare*

Yeh... what to say...? The sunflowers were actually a last-minute addition to the picture and weren't planned at all in the beginning. As I finished shading almost everything there is in this picture I felt like something was missing to balance it out altogether. As the heatwave just hit Germany some days ago and summer finally arrived sunflowers came to my mind instantly. It's been ages since I've added them into pictures, and it's a shame if you ask me (it's a lot of fun to draw them after all )

Altogether working on this picture was a lot of fun for me, I rarely do that extensive Anime-styled pictures so it's been an interesting experience, although my roomie will tell you otherwise most likely ("You always look at the picture as if you'd like to kill it violently.", "Geez, why are you even inking that stuff if you hate it so much?!" x'D) Also I'm really happy about how this one turned out. And I hope you'll like it aswell, Ginny ;w;

On a side note with this heatwave around: please take care of yourself and drink regulary to stay hydrated! D:
