Blue Christmas

Hey folks, how have you been?

It's that time of the year again, Christmas - and a while back I finished this picture, which was supposed to be a mere Christmas Card, but in the end I spent more time on this than expected, making this my annual Christmas picture of 2014 instead as I did not have the time to finish another detailled picture like this one in the short time left. However I am glad that I did put more effort into this piece than initially planned as, in my opinion, it surely paid off - making this one of my favourite pictures this year .w.;

My recent Christmas pictures (  ) featured a rather warm color sheme compared to this one, so I decided to turn it around for this picture, making this picture overall rather blue. By doing so I had the chance to mess around with the lighting a bit more than usual, and this actually turned out to be a lot of fun. I also learned one thing or another from this awell. Also it's been the first time in quite a while that I drew my character Flare again, which I enjoyed a lot >v< her color sheme went well with the red santa dress and the background if you ask me ;w;

This is also the first of my own works that I printed out, in this case as christmas cards for friends and family members as well as for the winners of a raffle ovo Holding those in my own hands... Dem feelz ;///v///;

With that being said I'll enjoy the rest of the day with my family, and I wish you guys Happy holidays and a lot of gifts and yummy food >w<

I'll leave the computer be for now, I still gotta fill the remaining christmas cards for my family with holiday greetings and pimp my presents with fancy ribbons and stuff aaaaah Dx
