This one was actually the first sketch I did, because I had some kind of art block a while ago. Having an artblock in a tournament is not handy at all seriously _ _; However, even if this one was the first one I had sketched it was the second last one I colored. I had the sketch for quite a while on my computer, but somehow I thought finishing off the not-so-liked parts first would be much more intelligent. I'd probably lost the motivation when doing the funny things first
What we actually see is that Kokoro chased down John, Gym leader K.C.'s Shiftry, to get the needed leaf with an imprinted token for crossing the gate. To stop John from running away Kokoro used Ice Beam to freeze him on a spot. Unable to move he actually didn't get away successfully and handed over the token - probably after Kokoro threat to freeze him completely when not handing it over. Guess Kokoro will get a cookie now :3
